Welcome to my e-Portfolio

This e-Portfolio is a record of my academic experience and provides a narrative of my development in the Master of Science in Information Management (MSIM) program at Dominican University. My e-portfolio includes fifteen artifacts/examples to show as evidence of the talents and skills I have acquired in accordance to the MSIM fundamentals of information science. In addition, a personal essay reflection about my studies and resume are included.

MSIM’s learning goals state that students will meet five core competencies which are directly related to a solid foundation for a professional identity and leadership, global awareness, service, social justice, and attention to evolving information technologies and media.

MSIM’s Learning Goals:

  1. Develop a professional identity.
  2. Understand the essential nature of information management and its relevance to society.
  3. Envision, develop, manage, and curate information and its systems across the spectrum of human records from local to global contexts.
  4. Synthesize theory and practice within a dynamic and evolving information environment.
  5. Demonstrate leadership, communication, and collaboration skills in order to successfully deliver and advocate for information services.
